Trailer: Steve Carell in 'Evan Almighty'

steve carell as evan almightyAfter a supporting role in Jim Carrey’s Bruce Almighty, Steve Carell finds himself pushed to the forefront in summer 2007’s Evan Almighty, a film whose budget, when all is said and done, may reach upwards of 250 million. That would give Steve the distinction of heading up The Most Expensive Comedy Ever. Blame the cost overruns on weather delays, CGI effects, and the logistical challenges in using hundred of animals (including lions, tigers, monkeys, and giraffes) for Evan’s Arc (images), which by the way, the production company had to make three of - the biggest being 450 feet long and 65 feet high.
