Based on the short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, directed by David Fincher, begins just after World War I. In Fitzgerald’s story, Benjamin Button (played here by Brad Pitt) was literally born in the body of a man in his seventies, growing younger at the same rate as his family and world were getting on with age. Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton co star. Button is scheduled for a Christmas 2008 release.
